David and Victoria Beckham's Father's Day posts include estranged son Brooklyn – USA Today

Father’s Day is a tale of many families on social media. James Van Der Beek’s widow Kimberly and his “Dawson’s Creek” TV mom mourned the February death of the beloved actor on Instagram.
David and Victoria Beckham penned Father’s Day posts that doubled as an olive branch message to estranged son Brooklyn, who was included in the loving photographs despite the family rift.
“David you truly are the best daddy. Your greatest achievement has always been our beautiful children and we love you so much. Happy Father’s Day 💕💕💕💕💕💕,” fashion designer Victoria Beckham wrote on June 21 along with a post featuring a throwback photo of David Beckham and the smiling brood — Brooklyn Beckham, now 27, Romeo Beckham, 23, Cruz Beckham, 21 and Harper Beckham, 14.
English soccer icon David Beckham featured a carousel of photos on his Instagram page, leading off with a black-and-white children’s photo with a smiling Brooklyn holding Harper. The photos included individual shots with each child, including Brooklyn.
“Being a dad is my most important job… I love you all & thank you mummy @victoriabeckham For giving me our beautiful family 🩷 Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads around the world 🩷,” Beckham wrote.
After years of rumors surrounding a rift between him and his parents, Brooklyn Beckham broke his silence in January, writing on Instagram that he did “not want to reconcile with my family.”
“I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life,” Beckham added in the post, alluding to speculation that he’s estranged from his family because of his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham. “My parents have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped.”
Brooklyn Beckham did not respond or interact with his parents’ Father’s Day messages at time of publication.
Supermodel Gisele Bündchen shared a Father’s Day Instagram post on Sunday, June 21, paying tribute to her husband, Joaquim Valente — with whom she shares a 1-year-old baby boy — as well as her own father, Valdir Bündchen.
Noticeably missing in the post was ex Tom Brady, with whom Bündchen was previously married to for 13 years and shares two children —  Benjamin and Vivian.
“Happy Father’s Day @joaquimvalente! Thank you for leading by example, and for the values you embody, love, humility, integrity, discipline, kindness and consistency,” Gisele wrote in the post that was also translated to Portuguese. “You are an incredible role model. We are all so grateful for you, and we love you so much.”
The post continued with thanks to her own father: “And dad, thank you for your unconditional love, wisdom, and support through every stage of my life.”
Brady’s most recent Instagram post features the Fox football commentator with his kids (including Jack Moynahan, 18, with ex Bridget Moynahan) at a June 5 World Cup soccer match.
