Rutland Applebee’s bartenders raise over $1,100 for Special Olympics Vermont – WCAX

RUTLAND, Vt. (WCAX) — Two bartenders at Applebee’s in Rutland raised over $1,100 for Special Olympics Vermont through a pie-in-the-face raffle.
The bartenders started the raffle when their initial fundraising goal fell short. They sold 75 tickets, and 10 winners were chosen to pick who gets the pie.
The bartenders did it for their own Special Olympian employee, Tony.
