Melania Trump and Dan Scavino Donald Trump has revealed the alarming words his wife Melania uttered moments after a gunman opened fire at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
Cole Tomas Allen, 31, from Torrance, California, has been identified as the suspect, who was carrying firearms and knives when he entered the Washington Hilton on Saturday night, April 25.
The president remained uninjured and was quickly removed from the stage. Following the shooting, billionaire Elon Musk made a dangerous comment on X.
The armed individual, who authorities confirmed was a guest at the hotel hosting the dinner, was apprehended and is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, April 27. Law enforcement believes he operated alone but has not revealed his intended target or disclosed a motive.
In his account of the incident, Trump revealed his wife was the first to sense danger. “I heard a noise and kind of thought it was a tray going down,” he explained, while Melania was “very cognizant” and recognized it as a “bad noise,” reports the Manchester Evening News.Washington eventElaborating on his initial impression, he continued, “I’ve heard that many times and it was a pretty loud noise, and it was quite far away he had not breached the area at all, they had already got him, but it was a gun.
“Some people really understood that pretty quickly other people didn’t. I was watching to see what was happening and should probably should have got down even faster.”gunmanCommenting on the event, he remarked, “It’s always shocking when something like this happens.” Trump addressed reporters at a White House press briefing in the West Wing within an hour of the shooting unfolding.
“The fact that we were sitting next to each other, the first lady on my right, and I heard a noise,” Trump said. “Melania was very cognizant.”
