Nebraska Football landed a commitment from class of 2027 four-star cornerback Jailen Hill. Hill made the announcement on YouTube Tuesday evening.
Hill is the 336th overall player nationally, the 38th overall player at his position, and the 29th overall player in his class from the state of Florida, according to the Rivals Industry Rankings. The corner was being recruited by USC, Notre Dame, Texas A&M, and Oregon, among others.
This commitment marks four cornerback commitments in this class alone. Secondaries coach Addison Williams was the primary recruiter in this commitment.
Currently, the 2027 recruiting class is shaping up strongly. The class itself has 18 overall commitments, including seven blue-chip prospects. The class itself ranks 17th in the country according to the Rivals Team Rankings.
This is now the second corner in the class that is over 6-foot-2. This is definitely important as the conference’s passing offense contains explosive receivers. Williams has done a masterful job on the recruiting trail in this class in particular. Tuesday was another instance where his efforts paid off.
