15 companies headquartered in New Jersey among Fortune 500 list – Asbury Park Press

New Jersey based companies are continuing the trend.
Fortune.com annual that rankings of the top 500 largest United States corporations by total revenue for their respective fiscal years has been released.
According to the report by 50pros.com, these companies on the list combined for $21.0 trillion in revenue and $2.1 trillion in profits last year, while employing 30.5 million people worldwide.
The data, was compiled from each company’s annual 10-K reports, quarterly filings, company-published annual reports, and public market data details the report stated.
The trusted business directory page rankings displayed are based off Fortune’s 500 companies by most recently available annual revenue.
In New Jersey, 15 companies remain on the list but in a new ranking order. Below are the companies based in the Garden State that made the list.

 And this year, for the first time in more than a decade, it has a new No. 1, as Amazon ends Walmart’s 13-year winning streak.
