M. Bilal Abid, Medical Director, Blood and Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Therapy Program at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Grant approval.
Thrilled and extremely grateful to the Laura W. Bush Institute for Women’s Health and Texas Tech University for funding our grant proposal. Through this funding, our group will generate data related to hormonal influences, mechanistic correlations, and impact on responses to cellular therapy.
Continuing our mission to curb disparities, evidence generated through this grant will hopefully help in identifying gender-based disparities in cellular therapy outcomes.”
