NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Detectives are seeking additional information from students who may have had contact with the White House High School band director accused of having a sexual relationship with a student.
Dalton Hawkins, 32, was arrested Wednesday and charged with statutory rape by an authority figure after investigators say they learned of a relationship involving a 16-year-old student.
The Sumner County Sheriff's Office is now urging parents of students at White House High School, or any school where Hawkins previously taught, to speak with their children if they had contact with Hawkins.
Authorities are asking that any child who has information or experiences they have not previously disclosed contact the Sumner County Sheriff's Office.
