Major League Baseball’s 2026 Cy Young races are heating up with some of the game’s top hurlers enjoying a spectacular first two months of the season.
In the American League, New York Yankees right-hander Cam Schlitter has been dominant after announcing himself in the playoffs last season, but has competition from back-to-back Cy Young winner Tarik Skubal (returning from injury in June), the Toronto Blue Jays‘ Dylan Cease and two-time winner Jacob deGrom of the Texas Rangers.
In the National League, Philadelphia Phillies lefty Cristopher Sanchez, Milwaukee Brewers phenom Jacob Misiorowski and last year’s winner Paul Skenes have the best odds with the Los Angeles Dodgers‘ Shohei Ohtani also in the mix to add a Cy Young to his trophy cabinet.
