CHARLEVOIX COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) — Officials in Boyne City say their computer systems are operating with limited functionality following a cybersecurity incident.
Officials said utility bills for the month of May could be delayed. Online utility bill payments have been temporarily disabled.
Account balance information and payment history are also unavailable for now. The city said it cannot accept utility payments in person.
Residents will not be charged late fees and system shut-offs will not happen during the restoration period.
