Washington D.C. – IAFNS is hosting a webinar to assist nutritionists in explaining new U.S. Dietary Guidelines for Americans to clients on June 3 from 2:00-3:30 pm ET.
Titled “Personalizing the Dietary Guidelines for Americans for your Clients through Science and Application,” the webinar will assist in understanding protein, saturated fats and other nutrition challenges.
The purpose of the webinar is to help Registered Dietitians and other health professionals translate existing U.S. diet policy into practical advice and applications, starting with protein as the foundation of a healthful diet while managing saturated fat.
Speakers will use model menu plans to show how to translate the Dietary Guidelines for Americans into daily food choices. The June 3 webinar is supported by IAFNS Protein Committee and offers continuing education credits.
