The Milwaukee Brewers didn’t have much time to enjoy their series sweep of the New York Yankees. After an off-day, the Brewers take on the San Diego Padres, leaders of the National League West Division, at American Family Field.
The Yankees had a plus-81 run differential before being outscored, 14-6, by the Brewers in the three-game series May 8-10.
The Padres lead the NL West despite a plus-3 run differential this season and had only 14 total hits in a four-game series split with St. Louis.

However, San Diego has the fewest losses on the road this season – it’s 11-6 – and hasn’t lost a series away from Petco Park.
The featured pitching matchup of the series will be Wednesday night, May 13 when Brewers ace Jacob Misiorowski faces San Diego’s Michael King. The two have totaled 115 strikeouts in 89⅔ innings this season.
The Tuesday night, May 12 game is available on over-the-air television throughout the state, including WITI-TV (Channel 6) in the Milwaukee area.
The Tuesday game will also be the return of outfielder Christian Yelich from the injured list. Yelich hasn’t played since April 12.
