May is Maternal Mental Health Awareness Month and a Chanhassen mom has created an event to help expecting and postpartum parents.
The Postpartum Wellness Fair is taking place on May 16 at the Chanhassen Recreation Center.
Nicole Colburn created the fair after he own experiences with postpartum depression, hoping to support and uplift other mothers who may be going through similar experiences as she was.
Participants can expect educational sessions, connections with community members and local resources, support for fathers navigating postpartum changes, and a family-friendly environment for children and babies.
More details on the event can be found online.
