Troon appoints new chief HR officer – Golf Business News

Troon, the leader in providing golf and club-related leisure and hospitality services, has announced the appointment of Deane Ilukowicz as the company’s new Chief Human Resources Officer.
Ilukowicz will lead Troon’s global human resources team, supporting the company’s 35,000-plus associates across 45 states, 40 countries and multiple brands. She will office at Troon’s corporate headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Ilukowicz has 30-plus years of experience in building and transforming global HR organizations that enable growth, operational excellence, and strong culture. She most recently served as the Chief People Officer for Scottsdale-based TPI Composites.
Throughout her career, Ilukowicz has led the HR teams at several large organizations, including Vice President of Organizational Effectiveness at TransUnion, Chief Human Resources Officer for Hypertherm, as well as senior level HR roles at financial services and manufacturing companies.
“Deane brings strong experience, a collaborative leadership style, and a genuine commitment to developing people and strengthening culture,” said Troon President and CEO Tim Schantz. “She has strong business acumen and is going to add a lot to the team.”
Ilukowicz has an MBA from Wake Forest University and her bachelor’s degree in social and behavioral science from The Johns Hopkins University. She also served as a trustee for the Community College System of New Hampshire and provides free HR consulting to nonprofit organizations.

In addition to its global headquarters in Arizona, Troon has nine other offices in the US, plus offices in Australia, Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates.
