The American Idol host, 51, showcased a remarkably youthful look at the Annual UCLA Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation’s Taste For A Cure gala.
Ryan had previously raised concerns among fans earlier this year when he was spotted at his Wheel of Fortune co-host Vanna White’s wedding, appearing noticeably slimmer. However, his latest look last week left fans puzzled.
Earlier this year, Ryan fueled speculation that he may have turned to medication to assist with weight loss, following a video that circulated on social media.
When he made an appearance at the annual event last week, fans took to social media to question his new look while he spoke to We Are Pause Rewind, with one asking, “Did my guy get a lash lift?” While another responded saying, “He got an everything lift.
A source close to the star told the Mirror, “Ryan is doing and looking fantastic and any stories saying otherwise are false. He’s been shooting his various shows in LA and coming up has the live three-hour finale of American Idol this coming Monday.
“I love Love Is in the Air,” he revealed, before joking, “And I’ll be on Tinder tonight, so I can find it.” His co-host Vanna reassured him, “Love will be in the air next time. I promise.” Yet as the show continued, Ryan offered a more honest glimpse into his romantic situation.
An insider familiar with the TV personality disclosed to Radar, “He’s lifting all these weights to muscle up and making a scene doing it, as his social media shows. He’s desperate to build himself up, targeting every area of his body. It’s exhausting but he’s going for it.”
Ryan recently made a surprising revelation about his romantic status, nearly two years following his breakup with girlfriend and model Aubrey Paige.
During the March edition of Love Is In The Air, which featured couples competing on the game show, Ryan disclosed he was using Tinder – a popular dating platform.
Ryan and Paige ended their relationship in 2024 following three years together.
At that time, an insider stated, “After three beautiful years together, Ryan and Aubrey have mutually decided to part ways.
“They plan to stay in each other’s lives as good friends and support one another’s endeavors.” Before his relationship with Paige, Ryan had been romantically linked to Hilary Cruz, Shayna Taylor and dancer Julianne Hough. On the Armchair Expert podcast, Ryan revealed that Julianne had initial concerns that the public would perceive her as capitalizing on his celebrity status.
