Nashville voters head to the polls May 5 in the Davidson County primary for several countywide positions and a handful of school board seats.
While the general election is slated for August, only Democrats are in the running so the May primary will essentially decide who wins each seat.
Four seats on the Metro Nashville Public Schools board are up for election, crowded fields have emerged in the races for three different judgeships, and Nashvillians will pick the first new Davidson County clerk in more than a decade.
There are also several races in which incumbents are running unopposed, including sheriff, public defender and two school board seats.
Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and you can find your polling location on nashville.gov.
Then check back here throughout election night to keep up with results.
The following incumbents are running unopposed in Davidson County’s May 5 Democratic primary.
