Law enforcement responded to the 36-year-old singer’s Tarzana residence around 4 PM, according to TMZ, following reports of a suspected shooting outside the expansive multi-million dollar estate. A woman allegedly contacted authorities with a description of a man in his mid-30s who reportedly fired at her vehicle following a confrontation in the street outside Chris’s residence.
The incident comes after Chris Brown was arrested on suspicions of grievous bodily harm which he will face trial for this October.
The alleged gunman was taken into custody, claiming that a dispute intensified after the woman declined to vacate the area, and only discharged the firearm after she allegedly ran over his foot with her car. He was taken into custody and charged with assault with a deadly weapon and vandalism.
It remains unconfirmed whether Chris was present during the incident or if he had any involvement with the individuals connected to the shooting that occurred on the street outside his property, reports The Mirror US.An aerial view of a residential property displaying a large main house accompanied by several smaller structures, including whatThe gunfire erupted in the street outside the controversial RandB artist’s 6 bedroom 8 bathroom “smart home,” which he acquired in 2015 for $4.3 million. The hilltop estate reportedly boasts over a dozen security cameras and an advanced home security system.
Chris is facing an upcoming legal battle in London following allegations that he physically assaulted a man by striking him over the head multiple times with a tequila bottle at the Tape club in the U.K. in February 2023.
The singer entered a not guilty plea to all charges, which include causing grievous bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon, and is scheduled to stand trial in the UK on October 26, 2026. He is presently free on $6.7 million bail.
Chris, who recently became a father for the fourth time to a baby boy with partner Jada Wallace, is currently preparing to launch a joint stadium tour with Usher later this year. The ‘R and B’ tour, an abbreviation for ‘Raymond and Brown,’ begins on June 26 in Denver, Colorado, with subsequent performances in Detroit, Charlotte, and Chicago.
Both artists have drawn public criticism regarding their partnership, with the 47 year old receiving backlash after he publicly stood by Diddy, who is currently incarcerated on prostitution charges after being cleared of racketeering and sex trafficking.
