Three-star wide receiver Braylen Ross has committed to Arizona as part of its 2027 recruiting class, per Rivals’ Greg Biggins.
The 6-foot-4, 200-pound wide receiver out of Crean Lutheran High School in Irvine, California, received offers from several schools, including Arizona State, Kansas State, TCU and Kentucky, per 247 Sports.
Biggins added that Ross did not play his junior season at Lincoln High School in San Diego due to eligibility issues. Ross told Biggins that Arizona made a hard push to recruit him and that the coaching staff played a big part in his commitment.
“Arizona recruited me harder than anyone,” Ross said. “I love their coaching staff and wide receiver development, that’s what I was looking for.
“I really like Coach B and Bobby Wade (Arizona’s wide receivers coach). They pushed hard for me, even though I wasn’t able to play my junior year. It’s real love out there, and it just felt like home.”
Ross is ranked 164th in the nation and the 140th-best player out of California as part of the 2027 class.
Ross joins three other 2027 class recruits as of Friday, including three-star tight end Max Markofski from Mission Viejo, California, and three-star wide receiver and Gilbert native Trey Smith
Arizona’s 2027 recruiting class is ranked No. 60 by 247Sports.
