An active shooter wasn’t going to get this agent to mess up his tux!
Amid the chaotic scene at the White House Correspondents Dinner, one attendee went viral for calmly munching on his salad as others ducked for cover under.
Reports then ID’d the unfazed diner as CAA power agent Michael Glantz, whose clients include Savannah Guthrie and Meredith Vieira.
So why did Glantz continue enjoying his appetizer rather than hide?
“Born and raised in New York, didn’t scare me at all, I just didn’t want to miss the show,” the former ICM agent told famed Washington, DC, connector Tammy Haddad. “Two other reasons I wouldn’t do it,” he also admitted. “One, I have a bad back, I couldn’t get down on the floor… Two, I’m a hygiene freak. There’s no way I’m putting my tux on the dirty floor. So it wasn’t going to happen.”
Haddad, whose media firm produces “White House Correspondents Insider,” is known for hosting the annual WHCD weekend Garden Brunch for a mix of politicos and media types.
