Sirte – The Pediatric Department at Ben Sina Teaching Hospital in Sirte organized an educational workshop. This was part of an awareness program. Several pediatric specialists supervised the workshop. Doctors and parents of sick children attended. The correct methods for calculating daily carbohydrate intake were reviewed. These methods link to appropriate insulin doses for each case. This follows approved medical guidelines.
