
On March 31, FINRA announced the launch of the “Financial Intelligence Fusion Center,” a secure portal for FINRA and its member firms to “share timely intelligence about cybersecurity and fraud threats and coordinate responses.” The platform, developed as part of the organization’s FINRA Forward initiative, collects, analyzes and disseminates threat intelligence to bolster awareness and ability to quickly respond to evolving threats. FINRA stated the portal, which it began piloting in 2025, also leverages the organization’s existing partnerships with government and private sector partners. The organization encouraged member firms to opt into the portal, noting it expands on the range of cybersecurity and fraud resources FINRA already provides its members.
