AIG Hospitals has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) for accelerating innovation in digital health, healthcare management, and translational medicine.
By combining our strengths in high-quality patient care and translational research with ICMR’s leadership in national health research, we aim to create solutions that are not only scientifically robust but also scalable and impactful for the larger population,’’ D Nageshwar Reddy, Chairman, AIG Hospitals said in a release.
Under the scope of this MoU, both institutions will undertake joint research studies in key areas such as digital health, healthcare delivery models, and allied disciplines. The collaboration will also focus on co-developing grant proposals, accessing national and international funding opportunities, and facilitating the exchange of expertise, data, and scientific knowledge, while adhering to all regulatory and ethical frameworks.
Dr. Rajiv Bahl, Director General, ICMR said: “By bringing together complementary strengths, we can generate high-quality evidence, foster innovation, and ensure that research outcomes are translated into tangible benefits for patients and the healthcare system. Such partnerships are essential for building a resilient, future-ready healthcare ecosystem for India.’’
