It formed part of ongoing efforts to ensure culturally diverse communities are actively represented in national research initiatives.<br \/>CEO Hassan Moussa highlighted the organisation\u2019s collaboration with OurDNA and its outreach to Arabic-speaking communities. Guest speaker Dr Chris Richards outlined the vision and objectives of the program, focusing on the importance of greater diversity in genetic research.<br \/>Attendees participated in an open discussion, sharing insights and raising important questions, while members of the OurDNA team engaged directly with the community to address concerns and gather feedback.<br \/>OurDNA is a flagship initiative of the Centre for Population Genomics, a joint venture between the Garvan Institute of Medical Research and the Murdoch Children&#8217;s Research Institute.
