A man was arrested for blocking an heavily traveled intersection in West Hollywood Saturday during a “No Kings” protest, authorities said.
The man, carrying a large American flag, was standing in the middle of the intersection between Santa Monica and San Vincente boulevards at around 2:45 p.m., officials from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department West Hollywood station said.

Despite being asked to leave multiple times, her refused, and deputies arrested him, the sheriff’s department said. <\/p>\n
The man was identified as 62-year-old James Lambert Otis.
Otis has been on law enforcement’s radar since 2016<\/a> when he was arrested for vandalizing President Donald Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Otis was arrested again in 2020<\/a> for the same offense.
For allegedly blocking the West Hollywood intersection, Otis was arrested for obstructing\/delaying a peace officer, obstructing traffic and being a pedestrian in the roadway.
Otis was expected to be cited on the three charges and released from custody.<\/p>\n
