He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The shooting has left investigators with more questions than answers, as police confirmed they received no ShotSpotter alerts or 911 calls reporting gunfire in the area overnight.
"There’s so many unknowns," said Sgt. Albert, a CPD public information officer. "We don’t want to leave any piece of evidence behind, so this will take quite a few hours for our detectives to go through the scene."
While the building's official status remains under investigation, police and local residents described the location as an unregulated after-hours club. One neighbor, who asked not to be identified, characterized the building as a nuisance property where violence is a recurring issue.
Because no reports of a disturbance were made during the night, detectives are currently working under the assumption that the shooting occurred in the early morning hours before the body was discovered.
No suspect descriptions or motives have been released. CPD is urging anyone who was at the location Tuesday night or Wednesday morning to come forward with information.
Records requests have been filed to determine the history of police runs to the address. This remains a developing story.
2026 Sinclair, Inc.

source

Now67°Thu80°Fri42°by WSYX Staff(Chris Mazivanhanga, WSYX)COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Detectives are investigating a fatal shooting at a suspected "after-hours" club on the city's South Side after a property owner discovered a man’s body Wednesday morning.Columbus Division of Police officers were called to a building in the 1,600 block of Lockbourne Road around 7:30 a.m. According to […]

[2

0":"post-4432","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-business
["GET
