Notre Dame de Namur University (NDNU) is proud to recognize Victoria Liou-Johnson, Ph.D., Assistant Professor in the School of Psychology, on her election as a Full Member of Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Honor Society, in October 2026.<\/strong><\/span>
This prestigious recognition celebrates Dr. Liou-Johnson’s contributions to scientific research, particularly her work on health equity in kidney care and traumatic brain injury (TBI), and reflects her ongoing commitment to advancing research and scholarship.
Recognizing Excellence in Scientific Research<\/strong><\/span>
Sigma Xi is the world’s largest general research honor society, bringing together scientists and engineers from a wide range of disciplines who share a commitment to advancing scientific knowledge.
Throughout its distinguished history, more than 200 Sigma Xi members have received Nobel Prizes, while many others have been elected to the National Academy of Sciences and the National Academy of Engineering.
