(WOWT) \u2014 Organizers of the <a href=\"https:\/\/countrydrivelive.com\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"\" title=\"https:\/\/countrydrivelive.com\">Country Drive Music Festival<\/a> say more than 10,000 country music fans are expected this weekend at the Country Drive Golf Course just outside Ashland.<br \/>Organizers describe the event as Nebraska\u2019s largest country music festival. They say the festival\u2019s growing attendance is helping provide an economic boost to the small town.<br \/>Chelsey Wenninghoff, co-owner of the Country Drive Music Festival, said in addition to music, the festival offers food trucks and camping. <br \/>Wenninghoff said the festival stands out because of what it offers and draws more people each year.<br \/>\u201cIt\u2019s really the only thing in the area that is like it. So seeing everyone here, it\u2019s a lot, but it\u2019s worth it,\u201d Wenninghoff said.<br \/>Wenninghoff said the increasing crowds also help businesses in Ashland.<br \/>\u201cThey go eat lunch. You know, they kind of wander off, so local businesses feel that impact too. We encourage them to do so,\u201d Wenninghoff said.<br \/>Wenninghoff said keeping the festival going is important, adding that the event is something people put on their calendars and return to each year.<br \/>\u201cWe\u2019re having your favorite acts coming in every year, it\u2019s something people just put in their calendar and come back to every year,\u201d she said.<br \/><i>Copyright 2026 WOWT.
