AUBURN \u2014 Duke Smith<\/a>, a rising redshirt freshman, is no longer with the Auburn football<\/a> program, a team spokesperson confirmed to the Montgomery Advertiser on Tuesday, June 23.
Smith is no longer listed on the program’s roster<\/a>. He’s the second player to depart the program this offseason, joining safety Jack Luttrell<\/a>.
In Auburn<\/a>‘s A-Day game, Smith had 84 receiving yards and a touchdown pass. He out-did his totals as a true freshman, where he played in four games. He recorded just one reception in that span, and it went for negative yards.
Smith was a standout at Southside High School, where he recorded 2,523 total yards and 23 touchdowns as a junior.
