\tPeacock<\/a> is no longer riding with Ponies<\/a><\/em>.
\tThe NBCUniversal streamer has canceled its espionage drama Ponies<\/em> after a single season. The news comes about five months after the series premiered as a binge release on Jan. 15.
\tSet in Moscow in 1977, the series stars Emilia Clarke<\/a> and Haley Lu Richardson<\/a> as Bea and Twila, secretaries who work at the U.S. embassy — “ponies,” or persons of no importance to intelligence operatives. When their husbands are killed under mysterious circumstances in the Soviet Union, however, they become CIA operatives in an effort to solve the mystery, uncovering a conspiracy in the process. \t<\/p>\n
