Three-star linebacker&nbsp;Cain Brackney flipped from Big Ten rival UCLA to Indiana, according to&nbsp;<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Hayesfawcett3\/status\/2069117758197875093\" target=\"_blank\"><span data-contrast=\"none\"><span data-ccp-charstyle=\"Hyperlink\">Rivals\u2019 Hayes Fawcett.<\/span><\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">&nbsp;Brackney is the&nbsp;16th commit and third linebacker in the Hoosiers\u2019 2027 recruiting class.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">&nbsp;<\/span><br \/><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The 6-foot-2, 230-pound&nbsp;linebacker is the No. 77 linebacker and No. 17 player out of Oklahoma, per the&nbsp;<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/rivals\/cain-brackney-250380\/industry-comparison\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span data-contrast=\"none\"><span data-ccp-charstyle=\"Hyperlink\">Rivals Industry rankings<\/span><\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.&nbsp;Brackney committed to UCLA&nbsp;on&nbsp;<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Hayesfawcett3\/status\/2047797795613032752\" target=\"_blank\"><span data-contrast=\"none\"><span data-ccp-charstyle=\"Hyperlink\">April 24<\/span><\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, but&nbsp;visited&nbsp;Los Angeles, Bloomington and&nbsp;Ann Arbor,&nbsp;Michigan&nbsp;in June.&nbsp;He&nbsp;received an offer from the Hoosiers&nbsp;<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DYf9kIXFup0\/?img_index=1\" target=\"_blank\"><span data-contrast=\"none\"><span data-ccp-charstyle=\"Hyperlink\">on May 18<\/span><\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">&nbsp;and&nbsp;officially visited&nbsp;<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/rivals\/cain-brackney-250380\/visits\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span data-contrast=\"none\"><span data-ccp-charstyle=\"Hyperlink\">June 12<\/span><\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">&nbsp;<\/span><br \/><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Brackney moved to Oklahoma from Colorado, where he played his sophomore season at Cherry Creek High School in Englewood. As a sophomore, he recorded 57 tackles, five tackles for loss, three sacks and one fumble recovery in 11 games.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">&nbsp;<\/span><br \/><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Brackney&nbsp;played at Union High School&nbsp;in Tulsa, Oklahoma,&nbsp;during his junior season. He tallied 102 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, one interception that he returned for a&nbsp;touchdown&nbsp;and one fumble recovery.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">&nbsp;<\/span><br \/><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Brackney will play his senior season at Bixby High School in the fall.&nbsp;The Spartans&nbsp;finished the 2025 season with a 13-0 overall record&nbsp;and won&nbsp;the Class 6A-Division I state championship after defeating Owasso High School&nbsp;<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.newson6.com\/sports\/high-school-sports\/bixby-claims-eighth-straight-state-title-after-win-over-owasso-saturday-night\" target=\"_blank\"><span data-contrast=\"none\"><span data-ccp-charstyle=\"Hyperlink\">31-17<\/span><\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">&nbsp;<\/span><br \/><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Indiana\u2019s 2026 linebacker room will be headlined by&nbsp;redshirt seniors Isaiah Jones,&nbsp;Jeff Utzinger&nbsp;and Kaiden Turner,&nbsp;plus junior Rolijah Hardy.
