The plaintiffs claim that Play Store apps collected information from children and sent it to Google and AdMob.<br \/> <\/span><br \/><span>Google<\/span><span> offers a variety of apps and services, while AdMob is a mobile advertising platform owned by Google.<br \/> <\/span><br \/><span>Google and AdMob have not admitted any wrongdoing but agreed to a $8.25 million class action settlement to resolve the COPPA class action lawsuit.<br \/> <\/span><br \/><span>Under the terms of the Google settlement, class members can receive a cash payment.<br \/> <\/span><br \/><span>Class members who submit a valid claim will receive a proportional share of the net settlement fund based on the number of valid claims filed with the settlement. No payment estimates are available at this time.
