But the staff at Kidspace Children’s Museum<\/a> knows that many tune-obsessed parents are raising music-loving youngsters, and to help families find the sounds, the dancing, and the vibrant early-evening spirit? There is the sweet and flow-filled Summer Museum Series.<\/a>
The yearly happening, which returns right around the summer solstice, adds energy and oomph to the Pasadena museum’s Stone Hollow Amphitheater over a few summer nights.
Those nights begin June 26, and they right through to Aug. 21, with five nights on the schedule.
Night one is West African Rhythms, Joy of Indonesia is happening July 10, the Afro-Latin Summer Jam is set for July 24, a Journey Through the Philippines is the Aug. 7 show, while Folkl\u00f3rica de Mexico festively concludes the series later in August.
Dancing is encouraged, so get up with your youngster and move to the music. Strolling through the galleries, too, is a possibility: Kidspace will stay open longer on the Summer Music Series nights.
