This month emphasizes that <a href=\"https:\/\/reports.dss.sc.gov\/ReportServer\/Pages\/ReportViewer.aspx?\/Reunification\" target=\"_blank\">reunification<\/a> is a team effort involving parents, social workers, and advocates. Last year, there were 1,332 children and youth reunited with their families in South Carolina. As of June 1, 2026, 521 children and youth have been safely returned to their families.<br \/>Secondly, the state agency is reminding everyone abut the return of the <a href=\"https:\/\/dss.sc.gov\/assistance-programs\/food-and-nutrition-programs\/senior-farmers-market\/\" target=\"_blank\">Senior Farmers\u2019 Market Nutrition Program<\/a>.<br \/>The program is designed to help supplement the diets of low-income seniors with fresh, nutritious produce while supporting South Carolina&#x27;s local farmers.
