Amy Adams is sharing why she could never star on Love Island.<\/em>
The actress, who is a fan of the reality dating series, said the show "gives me a lot of anxiety" because it's her "personal nightmare."
She noted that she's not a fan of socializing with strangers in bikinis like Love Island<\/em> requires.
Well, we know one bombshell who won\u2019t be entering the Love Island USA<\/em><\/a> villa anytime soon.
While visiting The Tonight Show<\/em><\/a> on Monday, avid Love Island <\/em>enjoyer Amy Adams <\/a>opened up about all the reasons why she could never star on the summer dating show.
\u201cThat show\u2019s really fun to watch, but it gives me a lot of anxiety because it\u2019s like my personal nightmare,\u201d Adams explained to host Jimmy Fallon<\/a>. \u201cStrangers. Socializing. Bikinis. Sun.\u201d
The Enchanted<\/em> actress also pointed out an interesting detail about the Peacock series that others may not have spotted.
\u201cThere\u2019s just like, no shade. Does anyone notice there\u2019s no shade on the show?\u201d she asked. \u201cI would just be like running around with zinc oxide being like, \u2018You\u2019re looking a little crispy!\u2019\u201d
But, as Adams noted, her concern for the other contestants and their health might actually benefit her chances on the show. \u201cI would win,\u201d she teased.
The eighth season of Love Island USA <\/em>kicked off on June 2, with new episodes dropping every single day except Wednesdays and Sundays. Its cast includes nurses, handymen, and a former Pennsylvania police officer whose mayor wasn\u2019t exactly thrilled that he quit the force to star on the series<\/a>.
Another reason Adams likely wouldn\u2019t star on the dating series is that she\u2019s married to her husband, Darren Le Gallo. The couple, who tied the knot in 2015, have been together for over 20 years and share a daughter named Aviana.

While she might not be staying in the villa, Adams did confirm on The Tonight Show<\/em> that she is headed to a galaxy far, far away. The actress will star in the upcoming Shawn Levy<\/a>-directed Star Wars<\/em><\/a> film, titled Star Wars: Starfighter<\/em><\/a>, alongside Ryan Gosling<\/a>, Mia Goth,<\/a> Matt Smith<\/a>, and Aaron Pierre<\/a>.
\u201cThese rumors are true,\u201d Adams said. \u201cThat\u2019s about all I can tell you is that I\u2019m in it.\u201d
She described the opportunity to join the beloved franchise as \u201ca total dream come true\u201d for her. \u201cThe whole universe, I was a huge fan,\u201d Adams said, noting that she was \u201ctotally obsessed\u201d and had \u201call the toys\u201d as a child.
Naturally, though, she kept mum on the details surrounding the film\u2019s premise and her character.
\u201cI can\u2019t tell you anything. I just love the universe,\u201d she said. \u201cIt\u2019s like, George Lucas\u2026 He and Steven Spielberg in the \u201870s when I was growing up \u2014 I just dated myself, but whatever \u2014 they just open your mind. They\u2019re so creative and inspiring and good versus evil.\u201d
