Dish TV India Ltd has launched \u201cVZY\u201d, an integrated entertainment ecosystem aimed at combining streaming platforms, live television, and premium smart TV viewing into a single connected experience across devices.
According to the company, the platform is designed to address increasing fragmentation in India\u2019s entertainment consumption, where users typically rely on multiple apps, subscriptions, and devices for different types of content.
Dish TV said consumers currently switch between Smart TVs, DTH services, streaming sticks and multiple OTT apps, resulting in fragmented viewing and multiple billing cycles. The company positions VZY as an attempt to simplify discovery and access across these services.
The VZY ecosystem operates across two layers. The first is the VZY Streaming Platform, which aggregates access to 29+ streaming applications, live TV channels, creator-led content and AVOD programming under a single interface. The platform also focuses on content discovery features, including search and recommendation tools intended to reduce time spent switching between apps.

The second layer is the VZY Smart TV ecosystem, which includes bundled live TV and streaming access on a QLED 4K Smart TV powered by Google TV. The TVs support Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos and are positioned as an integrated hardware-software offering linked to the broader VZY platform.
Speaking on the launch, Manoj Dobhal, CEO and Executive Director, Dish TV, said, \u201cIndia\u2019s entertainment consumer doesn\u2019t want another app they want an experience that just works. We\u2019ve combined the power of a smart streaming platform with a premium Smart TV ecosystem to deliver something the Indian market has never seen: a connected entertainment experience that travels seamlessly from your phone to your living room.\u201d
Sukhpreet Singh, Chief Revenue Officer, Dish TV, said, \u201cEntertainment consumption today demands experiences that are seamless, flexible, and accessible across devices. The VZY Entertainment Ecosystem combines streaming platforms, live TV channels, and premium smart viewing under one integrated platform, helping consumers spend less time searching and more time watching.\u201d

The company said the launch is being supported by a campaign rolled out during the IPL season, focusing on simplified and integrated entertainment consumption across digital and television platforms.
Dish TV, which has operated in India\u2019s distribution and television services sector for over two decades, said the VZY launch is part of its broader push into connected entertainment services spanning DTH, OTT aggregation and smart devices.
