Emily Blunt playfully told Jimmy Fallon that her husband John Krasinski\u2019s recent fashion choices almost turned her off to him, saying one particular garment \u201cgives me the ick.\u201d<\/span>

At least, that\u2019s what <\/span>Emily Blunt<\/strong><\/a> <\/strong>thought when her husband <\/span>John Krasinski<\/strong><\/a> chose his outfit for the Golden Globes earlier this year.<\/span>
\u201cWhen John pitched me this outfit and he was like, \u2018And it\u2019s a turtleneck,\u2019\u201d she explained on the <\/span>Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon<\/span><\/em><\/a> on April 28, \u201cI had to compose my face into, like, impassive, \u2018Oh, that sounds great,\u2019 you know?\u2019\u201d<\/span>
Indeed, on the award show\u2019s red carpet, John sported a black turtleneck with a suit jacket while Emily donned a white dress and cape. The <\/span>Devil Wears Prada 2<\/span><\/em> star\u2014who shares daughters <\/span>Hazel<\/strong>, 12, and <\/span>Violet<\/strong>, 9, with the <\/span>The Office<\/span><\/em> actor\u2014admitted that she found the final look quite dashing.\u00a0<\/span>
\u201cI thought he looked like <\/span>Michael Caine<\/strong>,\u201d she confessed. \u201cHe looked so cool. \u201860s vibe. But normally a man in a turtleneck gives me the ick.\u201d<\/span>
Although she may not exactly be the haute couture expert she plays in <\/span>The Devil Wears Prada<\/span><\/em>, Emily has her own rules when it comes to fashion, revealing her other menswear no-nos.<\/span>
\u201cI don\u2019t mind a <\/span>James Dean<\/strong> leather jacket,\u201d she detailed, \u201cbut [not] if we\u2019re looking at a dad leather jacket, where it\u2019s a little bomber jacket and it\u2019s very shiny and tight and cropped.\u201d<\/span>
And while her family may not always like hearing her styling advice, they are big fans of her work in the fashion-forward film and are looking forward to the sequel, which premieres May 1. <\/span>
\u201cMy kids saw [<\/span>The Devil Wears Prada<\/span><\/em>] for the first time maybe a year or so ago, partly \u2018cause their friends are very into it,\u201d the<\/span> Smashing Machine <\/span><\/em>actress recently<\/span> <\/span>told E! News<\/span><\/a>. \u201cThey just love it.\u201d<\/span>
She also revealed her husband\u2019s praise for the new sequel, divulging, \u201cHe loves this one. He\u2019s a massive fan of the first movie, so I think everyone was thrilled.\u201d<\/span>
