The Canadian Taxpayers Federation, a government waste watchdog and taxpayer advocacy group, is calling out Canada\u2019s foreign affairs ministry after records revealed the department spent $59,000 to decorate its consulate in Milan, Italy.
The records obtained primarily through an Order Paper Question in the House of Commons by Conservative MP Vincent Ho show pieces of art include an \u201cupcycled\u201d pink cowboy boot purchased at a thrift store and a mitten on a stick.
