A pedestrian fatally struck by at least one vehicle on the Hollywood (101) Freeway in Hollywood was publicly identified Friday.
Forty-two-year-old Marcus Edmonds died from blunt traumatic injuries, the Medical Examiner’s office said.

California Highway Patrol officers were called at approximately 12:42 a.m. Thursday to the northbound freeway and Gower Street on-ramp where they found the pedestrian lying in the number four lane, a CHP spokesman told City News Service.
Edmonds was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
