NEU-ION, a provider of high-purity water systems supporting mission-critical environments across healthcare, life sciences, and advanced industries, has hired Katie Sillex as a Business Development leader. In this role, Sillex will help expand the company’s market presence and accelerate growth through strategic relationship development and technical sales execution.
In her role at NEU-ION, Sillex is responsible for leading new business acquisition and expanding existing accounts across assigned territories. She manages the full sales lifecycle—from opportunity development and technical discovery through proposal creation, contract negotiation, and project transition to operations.
Her work includes re-engaging dormant accounts, identifying and positioning on bid opportunities, and growing long-term service agreements to drive recurring revenue. Known for blending analytical rigor with relationship intelligence, Sillex plays a key role in strengthening NEU-ION’s customer partnerships and pipeline performance.
A quote she often returns to, and one that reflects her approach to both work and life, is: “It’s not your blue blood, your pedigree or your college degree. It’s what you do with your life that counts.” — Millard Fuller
Sillex brings more than 15 years of experience in business development, sales leadership, and growth strategy across healthcare, biotechnology-adjacent industries, and real estate. Prior to joining NEU-ION, she served as Director of Sales at Sunrise Senior Living, where she increased occupancy by 12% in just 60 days and helped reposition the community’s market presence through targeted outreach and improved sales processes.
Earlier in her career, Sillex held leadership roles with Priority Life Care, LLC, where she restored a community to its highest occupancy levels in more than 20 years, as well as with Acts Retirement-Life Communities, JCMLiving, and Paradigm Companies. Across each role, she has consistently demonstrated an ability to turn around performance, align teams, and deliver measurable business impact.
In addition to her corporate experience, Sillex is the founder of NorthKind & Co, a woman-owned aerial imaging company specializing in FAA-certified drone photography, videography, and inspection services—further reflecting her entrepreneurial mindset and commitment to innovation.
She holds a Graduate, Realtor Institute (GRI) certification and is a licensed Part 107 Remote Pilot.
NEU-ION delivers high-purity water systems and services for mission-critical applications across healthcare, life sciences, data centers, and industrial environments. With a focus on precision, reliability, and long-term partnership, NEU-ION helps organizations maintain operational excellence through customized system design, installation, and service solutions. The company combines technical expertise with responsive, relationship-driven support. Personalized Care. Family Promise. That’s what sets Neu-Ion apart, delivering superior purification powered by expertise, dedication, and trust.
