A man was arrested for blocking an heavily traveled intersection in West Hollywood Saturday during a “No Kings” protest, authorities said.
The man, carrying a large American flag, was standing in the middle of the intersection between Santa Monica and San Vincente boulevards at around 2:45 p.m., officials from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department West Hollywood station said.

Despite being asked to leave multiple times, her refused, and deputies arrested him, the sheriff’s department said.
The man was identified as 62-year-old James Lambert Otis.
Otis has been on law enforcement’s radar since 2016 when he was arrested for vandalizing President Donald Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Otis was arrested again in 2020 for the same offense.
For allegedly blocking the West Hollywood intersection, Otis was arrested for obstructing/delaying a peace officer, obstructing traffic and being a pedestrian in the roadway.
Otis was expected to be cited on the three charges and released from custody.
