Brookhaven High School Panthers football honored by Senate – Daily Leader

Sen. Jason Barrett recently presented Senate Resolution 12, commending the Brookhaven High School Panthers Football Team for their Class 5A State Title win.
Brookhaven won the 2025 MHSAA Class 5A Football State Championship by defeating West Point 31-19 on Dec. 4, 2025, under first-year coach Darien Dorsey at Mississippi State’s stadium, marking their first state title since 2004, and ending West Point’s hopes for a three-peat.
