LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Clark County has given the greenlight to a special music festival held as part of EDC on the Las Vegas Strip this spring.
County commissioners voted Tuesday to approve Insomniac's application for the World Party Parade at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds on Thursday, May 14.
The event is described as a parade made of 15 floats split into five groups. The floats will be supported by performers, entertainers and marching bands.

Floats will start at the Festival Grounds, travel south on Las Vegas Boulevard and make a U-turn at Resorts World, concluding at the Festival Grounds again.
The parade is expected to last about an hour and 20 minutes, with about 30,000 people in attendance.
World Party Parade would be held in conjunction with EDC, scheduled for May 15-17 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
