COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Some Central Ohio high school students have added "state champions" to their list of accomplishments, after taking home the award in the Presidential A.I. Challenge.
Ridgewood High School's A.I. for Youth class has earned the top honor for their "Reading Reimagined" program.
Students across Ohio were challenged to showcase both technical and practical use of artificial intelligence by using problem-solving skills and
Ridgewood's team won for their platform designed to help students improve literacy by using A.I. to create personalized reading experiences and support skill development.
As state champions, Ridgewood's team is now headed to the regional competition on April 14.
There will be a celebration of the team's accomplishment with a presentation showcase at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the high school.
