The mobile tour of all 15 Arizona counties began Feb. 14 in Prescott.
The Arizona Traveling Museum commemorating America’s 250th anniversary will stop in Flagstaff from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday, April 6, at the Flagstaff Visitor Center, 1 E. Route 66. The event, presented by the Arizona America250 Commission, is free and open to the public. The mobile tour of all 15 Arizona counties began Feb. 14 in Prescott.

The Arizona Traveling Museum is designed to generate enthusiasm and civic pride in celebration of the 250th milestone, bringing history, storytelling and civic reflection to cities, towns and rural communities across the state. Stops and additional events are scheduled at America250az.org and @America250AZ on social media.
“Road to 250 is about making this milestone accessible to every Arizonan,” said Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes, chair of the Arizona America250 Commission. “By traveling to communities across the state, this museum invites people to reflect on our shared history, celebrate Arizona’s role in America’s story, and consider how each of us contributes to the next chapter of our democracy.”
Flagstaff’s stop will be just steps away from Mother Road Brewing Company, which brewed and canned the commemorative state beer for the anniversary. The beer is called AZ250 Arizona Lager and is available in stores and at the downtown Flagstaff taproom. The brewery donates $2.50 from every case sold to support historical education and community initiatives across Arizona.
Road to 250: Arizona Traveling Museum blends national history with Arizona’s unique story through immersive panels, a short looping video and interactive activations for all ages. The exhibit explores defining moments in American history and the people, cultures and communities that shaped Arizona, while inviting visitors to participate by sharing their own stories through a “Dear America, Love Arizona” postcard activity.
The centerpiece of the traveling museum is a replica of the Liberty Bell, one of a limited number across the country. The bell, which typically resides at the Arizona State Capitol, will travel with the museum as a powerful symbol of freedom, independence and civic responsibility. FBN
