Denver Broncos running back J.K. Dobbins is definitely excited about returning to Mile High. After over a month of speaking a deal into existence, Dobbins is all-in on a Broncos team that comes into 2026 even better than last year’s AFC Championship team.
Earlier this week, Dobbins was hosted by NFL Network and asked by NFL insiders Ian Rapoport and Steve Weiss about his decision to re-sign with the team.
“It was a long, crazy process to get to that point (of re-signing),” Dobbins said. “But, I’m happy to be home. Denver is home, man. I’ve made a good connection with the fans out here, I love my teammates, I love my coaches, I love the ownership, I love everything about Denver, so it was great to get a deal done and be able to stay home.”
Dobbins said “there’s a lot of unfinished business” going into 2026, and he touched on the addition of wide receiver Jaylen Waddle, new offensive play-caller Davis Webb, the possibility of playing in Mexico and more. You can view Dobbins’ full comments below.
The Broncos collectively feel they should have represented the AFC in Super Bowl LX. With Dobbins back as the presumptive featured back, the addition of wide receiver Jaylen Waddle and the return of quarterback Bo Nix from a season-ending fractured ankle, the Broncos are gearing up to be one of the most feared units in the NFL.
