Men’s Tennis March 26, 2026 Austin Williams, NAU Athletic Communications
FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (March 26, 2026) – The Northern Arizona men’s tennis team is looking to extend their winning streak to five in a row this weekend against Weber State. First serve against the Wildcats is at 10 a.m. MST when they take on the Weber State Wildcats in Ogden, Utah.
This will mark the fourth of a six-match road trip for the Lumberjacks. NAU has yet to lose on this trip, taking strong wins over Colgate and Sacramento State. The Lumberjacks have won the doubles point in all three of those matches and have only given up two singles points in the three matches on the road.
NAU enters the match against Weber State with a 3-0 record in Big Sky play, putting it at the top of the conference standings. NAU has gone up against four ranked teams thus far and Big 12 member Utah.
Freshman Jakub Jedrzejczak earned Big Sky player of the week honors after his spectacular weekend where he went 3-0, winning two of the matches in straight sets. Jedrzejczak has been playing at the No. 2 and No. 1 spot in the lineup as a freshman. Throughout his time as a Lumberjack he has a singles record of 11-3, second only on the team to redshirt freshman Noa Tcherniack.
Weber State has struggled so far this season with a 2-9 record overall and 1-1 mark in Big Sky standings, with wins coming against Portland State and UC Riverside.
