A Chicago mother was left in terror after discovering three strangers had made themselves at home inside her apartment — with two of the brazen squatters sleeping naked in her bed.
Yanicee Miles’ South Side apartment was allegedly wrecked and ransacked by the vagrants, who set up camp while she was away taking care of her mom, according to a report.
“After being away for two weeks caring for my sick mother, I came home expecting peace — but instead, I walked into a nightmare,” Miles, a nursing student with three daughters, wrote on GoFundMe.
The 27-year-old was greeted with chaos when she came home on March 15 around 8:30 a.m.
One stranger was asleep on the couch, according to video Miles took, while too others allegedly made themselves extra cozy.
“They were naked in my bed,” she told Fox News.
Miles called the cops and when they arrived, she confronted the unwelcome guests.
“I work hard for my sh-t! I got three f–king babies!” she shouted at the culprits, according to the video.
Two of the intruders, Tamika Harvey, 46, and Macarthur Benton, 63, were arrested on charges of misdemeanor criminal trespass, the Chicago Police Department told The Post.
It is unclear why the third person allegedly involved was not detained.
“I’m traumatized, honestly,” Miles told Fox News.
She claimed this wasn’t the first time she felt unsafe in her own home.
“Two weeks before, I got a call when I was at work, and they told me that somebody kicked down my door,” Miles said, per the outlet.
She was already in the process of moving out of the apartment building — which she described as mostly abandoned — because thieves allegedly broke into her first-floor unit weeks earlier and stole a TV.
“I am dealing with emotional distress, property loss, and the urgent need to secure stable housing for myself and my kids,” Miles wrote on GoFundMe. The fundraiser has raised $470.
Chicago comedian Dyon Brooks is graciously helping Miles pay for furniture when she finds a new place to live, Fox News reported.
“When I heard her story, it hit me. She’s a mother just trying to take care of her kids,” Brooks told the outlet.
