No. 10-seed Missouri basketball will take on 7-seed Miami in the Round of 64 of the NCAA Tournament on Friday night in St. Louis. The Tigers are in the Big Dance for the third time in four seasons under head coach Dennis Gates.
Missouri (20-12) is on a three-game losing streak entering the tournament, losing each of its last two regular-season games and falling to Kentucky at the SEC Tournament.
MU’s last win in March Madness was against Utah State in 2023, which remains the Tigers’ only win at the NCAA Tournament since 2010.
To break that streak, the Tigers will need to beat a Miami outfit that went from seven wins in 2024-25 to a 25-8 team under first-year head coach Jai Lucas.
