FAYETTEVILLE — The Arkansas soccer team had three players named to All-SEC teams, the league announced Thursday.
Bella Field was named to the All-SEC second team, Aniyah Nurse-Whyte was named to the third team and Lauren Van Rhein was named to the All-Freshman team.
Cora Hair was named to the SEC Community Service Team on Wednesday.
Field has been a reliable forward for the Razorbacks throughout her career and has 5 goals and 1 assist this season. This season, she has been deputized more in midfield and defense and has been a key part of Arkansas’ three lines.
Nurse-Whyte has started 15 of the Razorbacks’ 16 games and has been an important part of their midfield. She has been a key player both in attack and defense and has 3 assists and 1 goal this season.
Van Rhein has 2 goals and 1 assist and has started eight matches. She scored the winner in a 1-0 win over Auburn on Sept. 27 in Fayetteville.
Arkansas faces Florida in the SEC Tournament first round at approximately 7 p.m. Central on Sunday in Pensacola, Florida. Both teams are thought to be on the NCAA Tournament bubble going into the match.
The Razorbacks defeated the Gators 2-1 on Oct. 18 after MacKenzie Gwin scored the winning goal with 6 seconds remaining in the second half.
The winner will advance to face Kentucky in the quarterfinals on Tuesday.
