The latest results mark a shift in the closely watched contest. In the previous update, Brazeal held a six-vote advantage over Duran. The two candidates have now switched positions, with Duran moving ahead as additional ballots are counted.

While Byers and Krieger maintain their positions at the top of the field, the race for the third seat remains unsettled. Duran’s latest lead over Brazeal is 82 votes, while Post and Block remain within striking distance of the top three.
The results are unofficial and subject to change as Los Angeles County continues counting ballots. The final outcome will determine who joins the West Hollywood City Council for the next term.
