Rams wide receiver Davante Adams injured his hamstring in an Oct. 18 game against the Cardinals.
He recently underwent a procedure on the ruptured hamstring.
“Everything’s good. It went really well,” Rams coach Sean McVay said Wednesday. “He’s feeling good in the process of recovering and doing really well.”
The prognosis for Adams was 6-10 weeks, but McVay said that Adams will return probably “closer to the shorter term” of the timeline. That could mean Adams returns sometime after the team’s Week 11 off week.
“He tells me, which I believe, [that] he’s Wolverine,” McVay said. “He’ll heal quick and be ready to go. He’s in good spirits. [He] sent me a picture the other day [of him] being able to walk already. He’s doing really well, and I think based on how everything went, on the shorter end is what is projected.”
Adams, who is on injured reserve, has 30 receptions for 480 yards and four touchdowns in six games.
